Progestia is designed to provide additional nutrition for any woman during pregnancy as her physiologic and metabolic needs change. The 90 softgels represent a 3 month supply. Progestia contains:
Essential fatty acids (EHA, DPA) - Required for fetal brain and retina development
Folate (as folic acid) - Reduces the risk of congenital diseases, including neural tube defects
Iron - Necessary for the production of red blood cells and pregnant women have increased blood volume; third-trimester, the fetus stores iron that will be needed for the first 6 months of life
