Arnold-Chiari Malformation

Arnold-Chiari Malformation is a malformation of the brain that occurs at the foramen magnum (the opening at the base of the skull). This malformation affects the normal flow of blood to and from the brain.

Arnold-Chiari Malformation can cause nausea, dizziness, headaches, muscle weakness, lack of coordination, difficulty swallowing and, in severe cases, paralysis.
