Neurofibromatosis

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder characterized by nerve tissue growing tumors under or on top of the skin.

Neurofibromatosis increases the risk of leukemia, epilepsy and malignant growth. The tumors can cause bumps under the skin, neurological problems, coloured spots, skeletal problems and pressure on spinal nerve roots.
