Caudal Regression Syndrome

Caudal Regression Syndrome is a rare, congenital disorder characterized by abnormal fetal development in the lower spine, also known as the ‘caudal partition.’

Having CRS can result in parts missing from the tailbone as well as malformations of the spine, pelvis and lower vertebrae. Severe cases have been associated with various birth defects, paralysis and incontinence.
