Whether it’s your first or fifth, every expecting mom deserves a shower.  Here is a list of department stores to help you with your registry.

Registering your gifts makes it easier for friends and family to get the gifts you really need.  Takes out of the guesswork.  Running through a registry list is a good way to see exactly what you need as well.  In case you forgot something.

Sears has a convenient online registry.  They have everything from furniture to diaper bags, car seats, play pens, clothes and blankets.   Sears makes it easy too.  Can register at sear.ca or in the store at their kiosk.  There are also several locations nationwide for family and friends to go to.

You’ll also receive free announcement cards that can be included in your shower invitations.

Toys R Us, isn’t just toys anymore.  They have now included Babies R US.  You can still register at the store, however, online registry is also available.  The website is very well organized and easy to navigate.  Babies R Us offers Maternity and Nursing.  They offer everything for the nursery, including decor, linens, mobiles, furniture, and storage.  Babies are us includes travel, sleepwear, infant care and health, exercisers and toys.  They also feature deals and clearance right on the registry site.

Not as convenient as online registry, but don’t rule out the Pottery Barn.  They come with their own set of perks.  They offer a downloadable book, a guide that walks that helps you prepare your home for the new arrival.  For the Pottery Barn, simply go to one of their locations to register.  They offer a complimentary appointment with one of their store associates, that will spend anywhere from 1-2 hours with you. They offer assistance with nursery décor and designs.  Out of town guests can have the gift shipped right to you.  To make the experience that much more worth it, for six months after the registry you’ll receive 10% off.  It only gets better.  They offer free gift wrap and announcement cards

Those are just three of the department stores to consider.  There are so many options, Walmart offers baby registry, bynature.ca, and the list goes on.  Make sure to register at various places, not everyone has the same options as another.
